Health became very delicate late last year as there were three long-term planets stressing you out. Now that Pluto is moving away from its stressful aspect to you, there is some improvement (at least for parts of the year), but health still needs watching. Health will start to improve on a more permanent basis from November 27 onwards. And it will get even better next year when Saturn moves out of Virgo. In the meantime you need pay more attention to health and respect the limits of your body.
There are three periods this year where you seem most vulnerable - if you can schedule holiday time or trips to a health spa or spiritual retreat during these times it would be wonderful. If not, try to rest and relax more. These periods are May 20 to June 21, August 22 to September 22, and November 22 to December 21.
Health can be enhanced (and problems prevented) by paying more attention to the feet (always important to you) and the heart. Pay more attention to the shoes you wear and make sure they fit right and don't knock you off-balance. Keep the feet warm in the winter. Regular foot massage is wonderful for you - not just for the feet themselves, but as a way to energize the entire body. (See the chart opposite.) Foot baths and foot whirlpools are also very good. There are many natural ways to strengthen the heart and I'm sure you know about them. But the heart can also be strengthened through the feet.
Blood pressure can now be checked at home, and this is advisable for older Pisces. But more important than that is to be aware of the body. If you are working and feel a pain or strain - just stop what you're doing and rest - don't try to be a hero.
Spiritual healers affirm that the root spiritual cause of heart problems is worry. So work to eliminate worry from your mind. This can be done in spiritual ways. If there is something positive you can do about a situation, then of course take the appropriate action. But if there's nothing positive that can be done, how does worrying help? It just wastes your energy. There is no point to it. Also worry is a symptom of lack of faith. Strengthen your faith in the Laws of the Universe - in the power of the Spirit - and worry will just disappear.
Energy levels need to be kept high. This is the main bulwark against disease. With high energy, the immune system can handle anything that is thrown at it. But when energy is low, the immune system is less functional and problems can happen.
As mentioned last year, focus on priorities and let lesser things go. Delegate tasks wherever possible. Work with a rhythm and alternate your activities. Take naps when tired. When the car is out of petrol, there's nothing much that can be done - the tank just needs to be filled.
One of the problems that we see this year is the empty 6th House of Health. Your tendency will be to ignore things when you shouldn't. You will have to force yourself to focus on health issues.
The health of your spouse or partner can also be enhanced through the feet - foot and ankle massage is powerful this year. Also there is a need to explore spiritual and alternative healing modalities. Your spouse or partner may have a few health scares this year - brought on by the two eclipses in his or her 6th House. But if they pay attention to health all year - they will be just that - scares and nothing more. However, they are making major changes to their health regime this year.
Health of children can be enhanced through detox and better care of the colon, bladder and sexual organs. The health of one of your parents or parent figures likewise. The other parent figure needs to take better care of the kidneys and hips.
